THE PM360 TRAILBLAZER AWARDS 2010
We are proud to present the winners of our second annual Trailblazer Awards in healthcare marketing. Encouraged by last year's success, we have expanded the awards. We now award four categories in Company of the Year: Pharma/Biotech, Medical Device, Agency, and Supplier. We also have awards for Top Brand Manager in 14 disease categories, as well as 14 categories of awards for Best Initiative. All of this is in addition to holding our first-ever Trailblazer Awards Gala on September 24 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City (see page 28 in our October issue for photo highlights of the evening).
The criteria for our Best Company awards are broad. They range from innovation—including innovation in marketing and advertising— to talent development to social responsibility, which includes patient access, civic and global involvement, and environmental consciousness. It is most difficult to excel across the board like this, but our winners have all done so impressively. They have introduced new paradigms for sales and marketing and healthcare communication and invented environmentally certified medical packaging. In some cases, they have simply displayed virtuoso creative power. They have consistently attracted the best and brightest from around the globe. They include world leaders in sustainability, and all of our winners have channeled resources to those around the world who most need it.
We would like to thank all of our entrants and finalists. The competition was intense and we often regretted that there could be only one winner. We would also like to thank our panel of 12 expert judges. And once again we look forward to 2011—and to getting the inside story on what innovations are on the horizon.
