THE PM360 TRAILBLAZER AWARDS 2012
We are proud to present the winners of our third annual Trailblazer Awards in healthcare marketing. Once again, we have expanded the awards - this time with four new initiative categories and the new Marketer of the Year award. The new initiative categories include Self-Promotion and Direct Mail campaigns as well as Best App and Social Media campaign in order to accommodate the digital trend that has been sweeping through the industry on smart phones and Facebook.
We established the new Marketer of the Year category to recognize an innovative game-changer who has transformed his or her company, the industry, or the state of disease diagnostics or treatment. We want to put the spotlight on the true visionaries and agents of change in this industry.
The criteria for Best Company include everything from innovation in marketing and advertising to talent-development to social responsibility (which includes patient access, civic and global involvement, and environmental consciousness). Each of our winners excelled in these areas, which is no easy task. They set new standards for sales, marketing, and healthcare communication; showed off their well-toned creative muscles; attracted and retained some of the best and brightest from around the globe; and remained dedicated to helping the Earth and the people on it.
We presented awards for the top Brand Managers in 14 disease categories, 15 total Best Initiative awards, and our four award categories for Company of the Year: Pharma/Biotech, Medical Device, Agency, and Supplier.
We would like to thank all of our entrants and finalists. The competition keeps getting more intense each year, so intense that it makes us regret that there can only be one winner. We would also like to thank our panel of 18 expert judges who had the difficult task of choosing that one winner in each category. We love the fierce competition, however, and getting to see the different ways the industry is able to adapt and innovate as well as learn about the people who instigate these changes. We are already looking forward to next year, so start thinking about who and what deserve to be honored at your company.
